One of our traditions at ChefConf is to recognize the invaluable contributions that our community makes to our open source projects. Lots of awesome stuff in the Chef ecosystem originated in the community, from Test Kitchen to Berkshelf to so many cookbooks for so many things. Each year we ask you, our community, who out there is doing amazing stuff? Who’s helping you out on Slack and GitHub? Who’s making the contributions that set us all up for greater success with Chef, InSpec, and Habitat?
Nominate someone for an Awesome Community Chef award! If you’re not sure what that means, here are the winners from ChefConf 2017 and ChefConf 2016. They can be a community member or a current employee of Chef. Maybe they wrote an awesome blog post that you refer to over and over. Maybe they added a tool or feature to the workflow that you rely on. Maybe they took some time to answer a question you had in a thoughtful way that made you feel listened to and included. It’s your chance to send some public kudos.
Nominations will close April 13, 2018.
We’ll award this year’s Awesome Community Chefs on main stage at ChefConf. You’ll want to be there!
ChefConf is a gathering and celebration of the Chef community. Everyone is welcome to come and share stories, learn new techniques, and network with peers from around the world.
ChefConf 2018 is shaping up to be the best ChefConf ever! We hope you’ll join us May 22-25 in Chicago. If you’ve not gotten your tickets yet, be sure to register before early bird pricing expires on April 20.
