We were delighted to welcome so many of you to ChefConf 2016 this year, particularly the newest members of our community: the Habitat users. We saw incredible interest in Habitat at ChefConf such that we had to repeat all the sessions the next day, due to overflow crowds.
If you weren’t able to make it to ChefConf — or just weren’t able to make it into the overcrowded Habitat session rooms — we’re posting all the videos here this week. In the first of the sessions, Joshua Timberman, Software Engineer at Chef, provides an introduction to Habitat. Joshua spends some time talking about where we’ve been with application packaging, portability, and management, and why Habitat was invented.
Are you interested in trying out Habitat after watching Joshua’s talk? Have ten minutes? Take a quick, interactive tour.
