Adam Jacob Named Chief Customer Officer; George Moberly Named Vice President of Product Management
SEATTLE, Wash – November 21st, 2011 – Opscode, the leader in cloud infrastructure automation, today announced that company co-founder Adam Jacob has been named chief customer officer and George Moberly has joined the company as vice president of product management.

George Moberly is a former BMC Bladelogic, IBM and F5 Networks product development executive and brings to Opscode a strong and proven track record in delivering enterprise software solutions.

Moberly most recently served as director of product management at F5 Networks in Seattle, where he was responsible for overall strategy and delivery of F5’s management and orchestration product offerings. Prior to F5 Networks, he was vice president of product management at CloudSwitch in Burlington, Mass., where he was responsible for driving products from initial concept to market as a founding member of the company. CloudSwitch was recently acquired by Verizon/Terremark.
Moberly previously served as director of service automation product management at BMC Software, which acquired BladeLogic. At BladeLogic, Moberly was responsible for product management for the BladeLogic Suite leading up to and following the successful 2007 initial public offering.
Jacob is a co-founder of Opscode and the creator of Chef.
