Last week we were fortunate enough to make a guest appearance on Channel 9, the Microsoft Developer Network channel with a fantastic community. Nick Harris is the host of the show and guided us through an overview Opscode Chef, how it fits in to Windows Azure, and a demo of “Continuous Delivery with Chef and Windows Azure”.
Much of what was discussed on the video is a direct result of the work Opscode and Microsoft collaborated on as part of the Windows Azure product launch in June of this past year. The knife plugin built for Windows Azure allows end users to build and manage new instances on Windows Azure directly from the command line.
Keep an eye out for more Chef and Windows content in the future, but for now, we encourage you to watch the video and take the Azure knife plugin for a spin!
