I’m pleased to join Chef this week as technical content lead for learnchef.com. I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and talk a bit about my role here and how I can help you. My background mainly centered around client-side systems programming using C++ and .NET on Windows.

After a slight delay, I’m continuing my blog series on why Enterprise IT is too slow for business today and how we solve this problem. The real business challenge in this, the second decade of the 21st century, is moving quickly without hurrying, and without making significant mistakes.

During the deploy of Chef Manage, there was a brief period where redirection was not behaving properly and visitors were presented with an invalid SSL certificate. This happened because some configuration changes were not adequately tested or applied in all the correct environments as we had planned.
