We’re pleased to announce that Chef Analytics 1.3.0 is now available from downloads.chef.io. This release contains a minor bug fix and new database functionality to improve data management. Once partitions are installed, which are on by default in 1.3.0, it cannot be reversed without data loss.

The new global group, server-admins, was released in Chef Server 12.4.1. This group improves your ability to customize permissions that affect user management in your Chef Server. Previously, there were only two types of users, regular and super. The server-admins group adds another possibility.
