Chef and OpenSSL Security Advisory 1 March 2016
On March 1, 2016, the OpenSSL team released a new high severity security advisory. Simultaneously, the OpenSSL team also made available new versions of the OpenSSL code containing fixes for the vulnerabilities described in this advisory.
Chef Supermarket Outage Post Mortem

Chef Compliance 0.14.5 release
Chef Compliance 0.14.5 is now available from the Chef downloads site. This is a minor release update which is recommended for all users of Chef Compliance. Chef Board of Governance Meeting

Chef Analytics 1.3.0 Release
We’re pleased to announce that Chef Analytics 1.3.0 is now available from downloads.chef.io. This release contains a minor bug fix and new database functionality to improve data management. Once partitions are installed, which are on by default in 1.3.0, it cannot be reversed without data loss.
Server Admins Grant More Flexible Permissions Around User Management
The new global group, server-admins, was released in Chef Server 12.4.1. This group improves your ability to customize permissions that affect user management in your Chef Server. Previously, there were only two types of users, regular and super. The server-admins group adds another possibility.
