Chef Management Console 2.1.0 Release and 2.1.1 Security Release

Manage 2.1.0 and 2.1.1 are now available from the Chef downloads site. Manage 2.1.1 is a security release to address a cross site scripting vulnerability that was discovered to exist in previous versions of Manage, including 2.1.0 and the 1.x series. Manage 2.1.0 is a major version bump from 1.21.1 to 2.1.

UPDATE (9/28/2015): The build for Manage 2.0.0 has been pulled after bugs were reported. We are quickly working on fixing the issue and will notify you when the new build is complete via our blog. Manage 2.0.0 is now available from the Chef downloads site. This release gets a major version bump from 1.21.1 to 2.0.

The 1.11.1 release was supposed to have contained a fix for a bug where “localhost” would be used in the Starter Kit and knife.rb that can be downloaded. Due to a problem with our release process, 1.11.1 did not actually include this fix. 1.11.
